    Asborne Games Will Develop New Historical Strategy RPG IP

    THQ Nordic has opened a new internal studio Ashborne Games, and the studio is already developing its first IP – a historical strategy RPG.

    The Brno, Czech Republic-based studio is focusing on their first game, the aforementioned historical strategy / RPG IP, while also helping support Comanche during its early access period.


    Ashborne Games is made up of veteran developers that have worked on titles like Silent Hill: Downpour, the Mafia franchise, ArmA, and more.

    “Our focus and passion lies in strategy and RPG games,” said Studio Creative Director Karel Kališ. “Our goal is to create an authentic gaming experience with sophisticated systems that encourage repeated playthroughs. We believe that’s something that’s really missing on the market.”

    While Ashborne Games is currently staffing 38 individuals on their team, they’re looking to hire more. Open gigs are currently posted on their careers website and over on LinkedIn.
