In what seems to be a yearly check up on Dead Island 2, publishers THQ Nordic and Deep Silver have confirmed the game is still alive.

It’s been nearly five years since Dead Island 2 was announced and despite some development woes, THQ Nordic has once again promised the game is still coming.

“Dead Island 2 is still being worked on. Stay tuned,” THQ Nordic CEO Lars Wingefors simply noted.The last known developer on the game is Sumo Digital, who recently launched Team Sonic Racing.

Dead Island 2 is in development for Windows PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
