THQ Nordic has announced they’ve acquired Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer Warhorse Studios.
The acquisition was handled through their subsidiary Koch Media, and all intellectual property rights for Kingdom Come: Deliverance are included in the acquisition. The initial purchase amount is roughly 42.8 million euro ($48.51 million USD), which finally breaks down to 33.2 million euro (approx $37.63 million USD) on a cash and debt free basis.
THQ Nordic has pledged Warhorse Studios will continue to operate as an independent development studio under Koch Media. Both founders Daniel Vavra and Martin Klima, as well as CEO Martin Fryvalsky, will retain their existing roles at the company.
