Thomas Was Alone is a great little indie gem, one of my gripes with it is that the art is obviously very basic but the game in its entirety is pretty awesome.

Now, Mike Bithell has revealed his next project – titled “Volume.” I’ve never really been a fan of very vague game, movie or band names so I’m not a fan of the name but it looks pretty awesome:

The game is described as Minecraft meets Metal Gear Solid, and clearly that’s exactly what I’m seeing in the gameplay.

The goal of the game is to steal items while avoiding guards, there will be hundreds of environments in which players will be able to tinker with using in game tools.
