Arc System Works have announced that BlazBlue: Clone Phantasma is coming to the 3DS eShop in North America this Thursday, August 21st for $5.99 dollars. The game was originally released in Japan as BlazyBloo: Clone Phantasma.

The game is described as an action battle game, and it features chibi-fied versions of the various characters from BlazBlue. There are ten characters in total, and you’ll be tasked with duking it out with waves of enemies, by knocking them off stage.

Two of the main game modes were detailed:

• Story Mode – Play through each of the character’s different stories, as they find themselves caught up in an unfolding mystery. Solve the mystery of the Clones!
• Challenge Mode – Attempt to knock as many of the oncoming enemies off of the stage as possible. Master a character, and try to beat your personal best!
