Third My Hero Academia Movie Premieres Summer 2021

My Hero Academia

The third movie for the hit series My Hero Academia will premiere in the summer of next year.

The teaser was initially a series of three images that when put together make the current overall image. The teaser features the protagonist of My Hero Academia, Izuku Midoriya and secondary protagonists Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki.

The teaser image also has the tagline “He will meet the three musketeers” which references the name of Midoriya’s perk “One For All”. “One For All” itself is a reference to the famous “All for one and one for all” line from the 19th century Alexandre Dumas novel The Three Musketeers.

While the teaser didn’t directly confirm a movie when it was first unveiled, the official My Hero Academia Twitter account announced the teaser was in anticipation of a third film. The teaser also features the characters in a new black uniform with colored trim, leading to some speculation that the events of the movie will be unique to the anime and not from the manga series.

The third My Hero Academia film will release in the summer of next year, an official western release has not yet been announced.
