Nerd Monkeys are a new indie dev studio based out of Portugal, headed by industry veteran Filipe Pina (Under Siege, Toyshop Tycoon), and they’re working on something pretty interesting.

What is it, you ask? Well, unfortunately I don’t have much to tell you, for now I have an announcement of an announcement:

I’m getting some Dr. Seuss vibes over here, but that hat could belong to a lot of different characters I suppose?

I wanted to point out that in the presser I received Nerd Monkeys do specifically mentioned focusing on original and innovative multi-platform games, so perhaps this isn’t a licensed property?

I’m told it will be pretty awesome once they can finally show it off in a week or so, so stay tuned as we will definitely be covering it!
