Masaya Games has revealed the vocalist of the game’s theme song, as well as a new character, for their 3DS Langrisser reboot.

Masami Okui is confirmed to sing the game’s theme song, while the song itself will be revealed during her Birth Live 2015 Neo Stage event, which is going down on March 13th. She’ll be performing the new song live on stage.

Licorice (voiced by Nao Toyama)

Described as a “fated girl,” she’s the younger sister of protagonist Ares, although she disappeared mysteriously at a young age. She is known to be kind, and with a known love for humanity – because of this, she could never hate any living being. She has a very strong sense of duty and responsibility, and she always works hard.

While a bit shy, she is polite, and never walls people from her heart. However, she’s just not capable of dealing with people who spoil her. She has fond memories of seeing nature retake old buildings destroyed in the war. While there are reasons for her departure from her older brother, they might be reunited some time in the future, although she is hiding some kind of secret..

Langrisser is coming to the Nintendo 3DS in Japan this some time summer.
