As I sit in my game room and play my classic NES games and listen to music I think, I would love to be hearing this live.  So I search Facebook and there they were…The X-Hunters.

The X-Hunters are a four man Mega Man metal cover group.  They are based out of South Jersey , but tour all over the US at game conventions and charity shows.

All of their music is pure metal and pure Mega Man.  The band has two guitarists, a bass player, and a drummer.

If you had to guess their musical inspiration comes from the classic Mega Man games. In case you don’t remember how the original soundtrack went… it shreds, so take a second to think how that would go with real instruments.

Looking at The X-Hunters Facebook page, they put on some sick Mega Man helmets before they tear up the stage.

One of the biggest venues they perform at every year is MagFest.  Magfest is a three day gaming and music festival held once a year in January.

If you want to hear something that’s NES nostalgia mixed with some metal, than you should listen to The X-Hunters.
