Indie developer Catch The Void has announced The Whisker Watch, a cozy and chaotic cat co-op game.
The Whisker Watch is in development for Windows PC via Steam. A release is set for sometime in 2026 and console ports are being considered.
Catch the Void have announced their roguelike title The Whisker Watch, where you play as two cats protecting their human from the unseen world of Chthonic. While the game is being developed with online/local co-op in mind, it’s still fully playable solo.

The Whisker Watch is a cooperative roguelike about two cats who protect their Human from the Chaos, destroy enchanted devices, and upgrade their cozy mansion. There is online/local co-op and solo play. You can and should cause mischief, and you can also pet your human :)
Features
- Designed primarily for co-op: team tactics, combinable gadgets. Can be played solo
- Day/Night cycle: at night — raids and fighting Chaos, during the day — rest and upgrading the mansion, interacting with NPCs.
- Customization: skins, accessories, “your meow.” You can create your own cat and play as it.
- Story: The action takes place in an old mansion full of secrets and mysteries. We tell a cozy story about cats protecting their human from the ancient Gates and about the Chthonian standing behind them.
