The Sunken Kingdom DLC Now Available for Strange Brigade

Rebellion’s Strange Brigade has received two more pieces of DLC as part of the game’s Season Pass.

The first of these DLCs is The Sunken Kingdom, the second part in the ongoing Thrice Damned campaign that has players explore a vast and ancient underground city.

The other DLC, the Japanese Naval Officer Character Expansion, adds Hachiro Shimizu as a playable member of the Strange Brigade. Shimizu carries an arsenal of period-era firearms, shock grenades, and the Decaying Demon Blast special attack.

You can check out a trailer above. The DLC packs can be bought separately for $6.99 and $7.99.

Here’s a rundown of the new content:

A mythical underground city with a tremendously tantalising temple at its very centre? Deadly cave-dwelling nasties hiding around every corner waiting to pounce? Just another Tuesday for the Strange Brigade!

Mind your head adventurer, The Sunken Kingdom is the second brand new mission in The Thrice Damned campaign.

You might have liberated the first Shield of Bes fragment from those fiendish foes, but there’s still work to be done! Continue the story with this thrilling new mission and blast your way through a captivatingly colossal city solo or in 2-4 player co-op!

All hands on deck, a new Strange Brigade member has joined the crew: Hachiro Shimizu, master survivalist!

Once part of a secret mission to explore a remote Pacific Island, Shimizu and his crew found themselves shipwrecked and victim to the island’s monstrous miscreants. Shimizu alone survived long enough to be rescued by the Strange Brigade, and has been with them ever since.

The Japanese Naval Officer character expansion pack includes playable character Hachiro Shimizu and the following:

  • Decaying Demon Blast amulet power
  • Mikhailov-38 rifle
  • Marchador TT pistol
  • Shock Grenade special item

All contents of this pack can be used in any mode, solo or in online co-op.

Strange Brigade is available on Windows PC (via Steam and the Humble Store), PS4, and Xbox One for $49.99. The Steam version is currently 33% off as part of the Halloween Sale.
