Crows Crows Crows have announced a delay in the release date for narrative adventure game The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.
The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe launches early 2022 for Windows PC, and unannounced consoles.
Developed in joint with the game’s original developers Galactic Cafe, the game promises to expand upon the mind-bending and surreal first-person narrative adventure of The Stanley Parable. While players control the titular Stanley, whether they obey or disobey the narrator can radically change the world around them.
The game was already delayed from 2019 to 2020, then 2021. The new trailer mocks this, but attempts to reassure fans this will be the last delay. Indeed, the trailer states the game’s content is complete, and is preparing to launch on PC and consoles
It is hardly speculation to consider that the initial delays may have been caused by the coronavirus pandemic, and the subsequent quarantine orders forcing many to work from home. Crows Crows Crows mocked this, with prior delays including parodies of other then-recent delay announcements.

What’s New?
Everything that was in the original Stanley Parable is here, preserved just like it was back in 2013. But The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe also dramatically expands the world of the original game with new content, new choices, and new secrets to uncover. The labyrinth has just gotten bigger.
In addition, the game has been visually upgraded to reflect modern technology while faithfully preserving the tone of the original game. Accessibility features have also been added to the game, including localization of in-world text, colorblind options, and content warnings.
And just as before, the impeccable voicework of Kevan Brighting will accompany you every step of the way.
