Now that Microsoft has wholly acquired Minecraft developer Mojang, some fans were concerned that PlayStation support of the game would stop, or be silently delayed into being forgotten.

Thankfully, that isn’t happening, as 4J Studios have just confirmed that the Skyrim-themed downloadable content is coming to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita versions of Minecraft.

Developer 4J Studios confirmed the news in a Tweet:

“Yes, the Skyrim Mash-up Pack will come to PlayStation. We were hoping this month, but doesn’t look Sony can do that.”

The Skyrim downloadable content hit the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft last year. If you get it on any platform, you’ll get new themes in the game world, new item textures, new sound effects, new skins based on Skyrim characters, and a new menu screen.
