Open-world action game The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin announced

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Netmarble has announced The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, a new open-world action spinoff set for release across PC, consoles, and smartphones.

While The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is coming to PC and smartphones, specific console versions weren’t confirmed at this time.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origins is a sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross and will include a multiverse worldview of the Seven Deadly Sins, as the previous turn-based mobile game made the developer feel limited.

The game features a new story where the player goes off on an adventure in the continent of Britannia where time and space are intertwined with Tristan, the new protagonist. Considering the game is open world, you can freely move around and directly manipulate the characters from the original series while engaging in real-time battles.

As mentioned, characters from the original IP will appear and the player can both solve and explore various scenarios that were not possible in the original series. The gameplay in the reveal trailer shows off characters scaling walls, diving to find underwater treasure chests, and even using skills to fly or build bridges.
