The Seven Deadly Sins Manga Sequel “The Four Knights of the Apocalypse” Announced, New Anime Season October 2020

Kodansha USA Publishing have announced (via Anime News Network) that Nakaba Suzuki’s The Seven Deadly Sins manga will have a sequel, and a new anime season in October 2020.

The Four Knights of the Apocalypse (Translation: Anime News Network) will reportedly focus on Tristan, the son of Meliodas, and Elizabeth Liones. Both of the latter are the main characters in The Seven Deadly Sins. 

After the official manga ended on March 25th, the 41st and final volume was confirmed to ship on May 15th. It originally launched in 2012 in Weekly Shonen Magazine.

No release date has been announced for The Four Knights of the Apocalypse.

In addition, Comic Natalie (via Anime News Network) report that the original manga will be getting a new anime season, titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Anger’s Judgement (Translation: Anime News Network). The current anime season is titled The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods.

The main cast will return, and the anime will broadcast across TV Tokyo’s six channels, along with BS-TV Tokyo.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Anger’s Judgement premieres October 2020 in Japan.
