Hand of Fate 2, the action RPG/board game hybrid by Defiant Development, has just received its second piece of DLC.
The Servant and the Beast DLC adds a new quest chain where you strike a dark deal with a mysterious entity that soon begins to demand greater personal sacrifices as part of the bargain. There’s also a new companion and questline involving them, new encounters, and new pieces of gear. You can check out the launch trailer above.
Hand of Fate 2 also received a gigantic update last month, dubbed Combat Reforged. This patch made significant changes to the combat mechanics, rebalanced many of the game’s enemies and items, and reworked the artifact system. You can read the full patch notes here.
Here’s a rundown of the new DLC:
Hand of Fate 2: The Servant and the Beast DLC evolves the Game of Life and Death once again with a brand new campaign challenge and a unique companion character.
In the depths of despair, you struck a bargain with a strange new ally: your blood for freedom. But now your captors seek to drag you back to their cruel fighting pits, and the monstrous beast you serve demands more and more of you in order to achieve his ultimate goal – revenge against his conspirators and the reclamation of his throne.
This DLC includes a new campaign challenge, a new companion, a new companion quest chain, new utility encounters and new pieces of equipment to unlock.
