We’ve known that Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is getting a Senran Kagura collaboration in the form of new costumes, but it seems like the collaboration is a lot more robust than we previously thought.
In a recent Nico Nico broadcast with Famitsu, producer Yosuke Hayashi revealed that Team Ninja is going to implement a clothing destruction feature into the game, similar to what fans have seen in the Senran Kagura series.
The first screenshot of the Dead or Alive ladies wearing both Asuka and Mirai’s (of Senran Kagura) costumes was also revealed:
Hayashi-san also said that his team are currently trying to figure out interaction with the costumes in the game. Hayashi asked fans to wait in anticipation as they’ll give us an update that shows what happens after the clothes are destroyed.
Dead or Alive 5: Last Round is currently available for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, with a PC release coming on March 30th.
