Kadokawa Corporation has announced a new The Rising of the Shield Hero game, the first video game adaptation of the popular series of the same name.

Details on The Rising of the Shield Hero game are scant though it is in development for PC and smartphones, and will launch globally. Judging from the reveal artwork, seen above, it’s likely the game will start from the beginnings of the series.

Original Work: Aneko Yusagi

I was amazed by the graphics, which look like the anime was directly adapted into a game. I hope you’ll enjoy the battles and stories of your own unique hero, woven together through the game.
