Even though the Playstation 4 has just launched in America, it seems like we won’t have to wait long to see more of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn running on the console. Square Enix has confirmed that we’ll be getting a lot of new information regarding the next-gen port.

In a new letter from the producer, director and producer Naoki Yoshida announced that the next broadcast will be on December 14th, and it will include a special portion of footage showcasing the game running on Sony’s new console.

Nothing else was confirmed, but rest assured the game will probably look and run way better on hardware that isn’t 7 years old.
