The Player Who Can’t Level Up game launches in 2026 for PC and consoles

The Player Who Can't Level Up

Tripearl Games has announced a release window and details for their new The Player Who Can’t Level Up game, based on the popular Korean webtoon of the same name.

The Player Who Can’t Level Up is now set to launch sometime in 2026 for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, worldwide.

“We wanted to challenge how players think about progression,” said Manson Jeong, Tripearl Games’ CEO. “In The Player Who Can’t Level Up, improvement comes from strategy, not stats — from learning and adapting, not grinding.”

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus a new trailer:

Developed by Tripearl Games, this fast-paced action roguelite blends high-impact combat, bold visuals, and an all-new storyline created in collaboration with the original web novel and webtoon team.

To mark the occasion, Tripearl Games has released an announcement trailer showcasing the game’s first gameplay footage. The video offers a thrilling look at the dynamic combat, boss encounters, and cinematic animations players can expect when the game launches.

At the center of the game is Kim Kigyu, a player destined to fight the world’s deadliest threats — but with a twist: he can’t level up. Instead, players will find themselves mastering unique combat styles, uncovering secrets hidden inside a mysterious gate, and evolving through every battle using roguelite mechanics.

A NEW CHAPTER IN A FAN-FAVORITE UNIVERSE

The Player Who Can’t Level Up has already amassed over 210 million views and topped charts on Kakao Page, Piccoma, and Tapas. The game expands this beloved universe with a new side story, letting players explore unknown corners of the lore while fighting alongside familiar allies Lu and El.
