Tri-Heart Interactive have announced the release date for the multiplayer The Otterman Empire.

As stated in the press release (via Games Press), no two games are the same, as the game “offers a truly unique blend of campaign, collaboration and competition for one to four players, and with rapidly-switching objectives and multiple game modes.”

Armed with a water gun and jetpack, players choose their otter for two-minute rounds with randomized objectives and supply drops. Along with the multiplayer, players can play a solo against evil otter Tiko from destroying the empire.

Along with eight maps, the game offers eight multiplayer modes, including “the fast-paced, Squiditch, explosive Detonator and sharp-shooting Target Practice.”

Steam players “will be able to enjoy online multiplayer action with Steam Remote Play from July 2nd, with console compatibility coming soon.”
