While our European fans have had access to the Pokémon Trading Card Game from the Game Boy Color since July, we’ve only just gotten the game here in North America.

In comparison to Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue, in the Pokemon Trading Card Game you play as a young boy (not the protagonist from the original games) who travels around the world, collecting various cards and battling other characters.

You can find the Pokémon Trading Card Game on the 3DS Virtual Console, for $5.99. I spent countless hours on the original back in the day, and I remember collecting every single one of the 226 in-game cards.
