Some new tidbits for The Order: 1886 have come out, specifically regarding the game’s performance on the Playstation 4, and how many players could partake of it.
Firstly, the game will not feature multiplayer, as confirmed by Ready at Dawn’s co-founder Andrea Pessino:
“No multiplayer,” Pessino posted firmly on Twitter. “It is a single player, third person action adventure game.”
Next, the game’s performance on the platform was talked about in an interview with Play3:
“Currently, we are not targeting 60 frames per second,” Weerasuriya said. “In a first-person shooter, sure, that makes sense. Also, fighting games are undoubtedly suited for 60 frames. But for this, the cinematic experience is in the foreground—presented in full HD, 1080p. We’re in favor of spectacular effects and the highest possible resolution, but we limit ourselves to 30 frames per second.”
We still haven’t heard much about The Order since its original reveal, but we are expected to get a new trailer soon, as well as some previews set to go up after the press embargo lifts on February 18th.
