Nintendo has announced a massive renovation for their Nintendo World store in Rockefeller Plaza, in New York.
The store will be closed between January 19th and February 19th, in which the entire store will see a new interior design, new demo units for both Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, “more fun elements and surprises,” a giant 15-foot wide gaming screen, and finally a huge large bronze coin (featured above) put at the store’s entrance, which displays the store’s tagline “Where everyone comes to play.”
The weekend following the reopening, from February 19th through the 21st, the Nintendo World store will have a bunch of events including costume characters, giveaways, and the sale of exclusive merchandise that can only be purchased that weekend.
