The Nightmare Ensues – Killer is Dead Launches on Steam in May

Great news for Suda 51 fans who have been waiting for a PC release for the iconic and cult hit Killer is Dead – Deep Silver has confirmed that the game is coming to PC in May, and it’s coming with some exclusive content.

The “Nightmare Edition” of the game will come with exclusive content in the form of a new Nightmare difficulty mode, where enemies can only be defeated with the following attacks: adrenaline burst, dodge burst, and headshots.

If you haven’t played the original, this means the game will be pretty much an unrelenting experience, possibly even an unfair one. Also, players won’t be able to use final judgement finishers to defeat enemies.

Check out a trailer for the new PC version below:

The Nightmare Edition will also come with the Smooth Operator Pack, which is unlocked after completing episode 3, and the Theater Mode, which lets you rewatch cutscenes and get a whole bevy of background information for various characters in the game. Some say that this doesn’t help much, as the game’s story is already completely crazy to begin with.

Killer is Dead – Nightmare Edition will launch on May 9th for PC, it will cost 19.99 EUR/USD/GBP and it will be available in both retail and digital flavors.
