In a curious request, classic adventure games The Lion King and Aladdin have been removed from Steam and GOG.

Both games were removed from both Windows PC platforms, but only GOG provided an actual blurb on why – the publisher requested both titles be removed:

We’d like to inform you that Disney The Lion King and Disney Aladdin are being delisted from our catalog on July 9th, 2PM UTC, due to the publisher’s request. Everyone who owned the games prior to delisting will still be able to access them through their GOG Library.

There’s another Disney game de-listed from Steam as well, The Jungle Book, however it’s still up on GOG.
