Nintendo has announced a premiere date for their The Legend of Zelda live-action film, though it’s still a ways off.
While details on the new The Legend of Zelda live-action film are practically nonexistent, the film now has a premiere date roughly two years away – on March 26th, 2027.
Zelda creator Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad (Chairman of Arad Productions Inc.) will serve as producers, and Wes Ball is serving as director. Nintendo and Sony Pictures are co-financing the movie, with Nintendo contributing more than 50% to the film and Sony Pictures will handle the theatrical distribution.
