JRPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV has a reported Nintendo Switch release date in Japan.
The news comes via Ryokutya2089 (translation: DeepL), a blog dedicated to sharing gaming news from physical print media in Japan- in this case reportedly from the latest issue of Famitsu (thanks SiliconEra). They report the game will launch on Nintendo Switch on March 18, 2021.
The game is currently available on PlayStation 4, and 2021 on Windows PC (via Steam), and Nintendo Switch. The Japanese release date may help give some indication of not just the western Nintendo Switch release date, but the PC release date as well.
In addition, Ryokutya2089 reports the game will feature DLC content as part of the game- seven made by Nippon Ichi Software themselves, and two by other manufacturers.
As previously reported, the game acts as the conclusion to the Trails of Cold Steel series. Members of the famous Class VII must unite to save the Erebonian Empire from all-out war. Players Lost Arts, Orbal magic, and giant mechs to win the day.
