NIS America has announced a delay for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon alongside another console version for the game.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon will forgo its original fall 2025 western release for one sometime in January 2026.
A Nintendo Switch 2 port was also announced alongside the previously announced versions on Windows PC (via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store), Switch, PS4, and PS5.
Preorders are now available for a Limited Edition of the game (pictured above) for the new Switch 2 version – priced at $109.99 and on a Game-Key Card (a download, the full game is not on the cartridge), as well as the Switch, PS4, and PS5 versions for $99.99 (which include the full game on the physical copy).
“I’m excited to announce that the latest entry in Nihon Falcom’s Trails series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon, will also be released on Nintendo Switch 2,” Nihon Falcom President Toshihiro Kondo said in a press release. “With the power of the Nintendo Switch 2, we expect players to have an even more enjoyable experience. In fact, this will mark the debut of the Trails series on the Nintendo Switch 2, and I personally have high expectations for it. Please continue to look forward to the release!”
The 20th anniversary release in the Trails franchise has been available for PC (via Steam), PS4, and PS5 in Japan and southeast Asia.
