Not long after confirming crossplay for the game, SNK Corporation has announced new The King of Fighters XV DLC characters Nakoruru, Hoahmaru, and Darli Dagger alongside confirming the game’s second season of DLC.

All three characters – Nakoruru, Hoahmaru, and Darli Dagger all hail from the Samurai Shodown series, making KOF XV now officially a full cross-series brawler with characters from all of SNK’s core fighting game franchises.

Season 2 for the game was also confirmed to kick off in 2023 – starting with fan favorites Shingo Yabuki and Kim Kaphwan. The aforementioned crossplay update and more are planned for later.

The King of Fighters XV is available now on Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. We also have a review for the game here as well.
