SNK Corporation announced The King of Fighters XV adds Omega Rugal, alongside new updates for the game.

During a livestream of the Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable, there were a few updates to some fighting games. SNK has officially announced that long time boss character, Omega Rugal, will be added to The King of Fighters XV in a free update in April. Alongside his release is the new game mode, Boss Challenge, which promises a tough battle against a CPU version of Omega Rugal. The free update launches these new features April 14th.

Currently, you can purchase Team Garou with Team South Town coming up in May 2022. Omega Rugal will be voiced by Tsuguo Mogami, who also voices Ryuji Yamazaki. Here’s a release trailer showcasing Omega Rugal’s moveset:

The King of Fighters XV is available now on Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. We also have a review for The King of Fighters XV right here as well.
