The long standing franchise for Bandai Namco, The Idolm@ster, announced The Idolm@ster MR -MORE RE@LITY- Project, their latest entry.
The Idolm@ster MR -MORE RE@LITY- Project is a new experiment for the franchise as it’s next iteration. It’s suggested to use real-time motion capture as well as xR, which combines Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality technologies to create a more believable experience.
The new announcement also states that Bandai Namco aims to provide the franchise’s soundtracks to music streaming services like Spotify. MR -MORE RE@LITY- stands to bring more Idolm@ster content to more than just the video games that were previously on home consoles, mobile phones, and arcades.
