Publisher Aniplex and co-developers Too Kyo Games and Media.Vision have confirmed The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy is actually two games in one package, which explains the game’s massive scale.

While the first half of the game covers the beginning 100 days at the school academy, the second half entails the latter 100 days. This has been the content of the game since launch, though players (including our review) pondered how the game could pack so much content.

The new reveal has confirmed, yes, The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy was originally planned as two games, the first game and its canonical sequel. The developers also confirmed a coming update which will let players start their playthrough from the second game without clear data, as an extra challenge.

Lastly, more details for the game will be shared on January 16th, suggesting new developments for the IP.
