In the time since the announcement of the game, The Heroic Legend of Arslan Warriors has been moving forward with only four playable characters – Arslan, Daryun, Narsus and Elam.

Finally, in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu, two more characters joining the roster were announced, along with a number of screens from the game.

Gieve, ever the ladies man and the musical bard will be joining the party; as will the lovely Farangis – both of whom will be following the trend of using their anime designs.

The numerous new screens can be seen below, and you can get a good look at the two new characters.

The game is set for release on PS3 and PS4 on September 17th in Japan.
