We’ve learned (via Anime News Network) that a game adaptation of The Heroic Legend of Arslan manga (featured above) is being developed for both Playstation 3 and Playstation 4.

The new game is a musou-style action/adventure game, by Koei Tecmo. The news was confirmed in the latest issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine:

The game is known as Arslan Senki x Musou, or The Heroic Legend of Arslan Warriors in English. It’s set for a fall release in Japan, and we know that you’ll be able to relive scenes from the manga, beginning with the battle of Atropatene.

The first playable character is confirmed to be Arslan an Daryun, naturally.
