An anime adaptation of the series The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody will premiere in 2022.
Beginning as a novel series in 2017 by Myojin Katou, The Greatest Demon Lord Is Reborn as a Typical Nobody follows the demon lord Varvatos; who purposefully chooses to reincarnate in the future and live a peaceful life as Ard.
However his plan goes wrong, as the overall level of magic declines in the decades since his death. The “average” stats he planned for himself are now considered powerful under the new standards.
With no chance of slipping under the radar, his power catches the attention of the most powerful beings in the world, who either can’t fathom his “average” power, or those beings who have lived long enough and might recognize him as Varvatos.
