The upcoming anime adaptation of The Great Cleric has just received a new trailer, giving us a closer look at the animation, art direction, and voice work we can expect from the series.

Originally announced earlier this year, the series began as a light novel in 2016 from a writer working under the pen name Broccoli Lion. A manga began releasing shortly after in 2017.

The anime is a collaborative effort between studios Cloud Hearts and Yokohama Animation Lab.

The two studios previously worked together on Whisper Me a Love Song and most recently The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World.

The series follows a salaryman who’s reincarnated in another world along with nine other souls after the God of Destiny loses a bet.
