While many of us were let down by Granblue Fantasy, the “blockbuster RPG” from Cygames, turning out to be yet another smartphone game, we can’t deny it has gorgeous art and music.
The music is thanks to industry legend, Nobuo Uematsu, composing the score for the game. In the video featured above, you can sample the entire game’s soundtrack, which soundtrack is being made available separately from the game itself.
The soundtrack itself was offered at the yearly Comiket 86 festival, which is the world’s largest doujinshi (self-published works) expo. It’s now being re-released for 3,000 yen.
Granblue Fantasy is currently only available to Japanese smartphone users but, for what it’s worth, there is a budding English community (like most games that don’t get localized) with guides to help you experience the game a bit.
