    Publisher Playism and developer KOTAKE CREATE announced The Exit 8 has sold over 2 million copies.

    The mystery/thriller game has been available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, PS5, iOS, and Android. Check out our review here!

    A live-action movie for the game just premiered in Japanese theaters, and is planned for a worldwide release sometime in early 2026.

    To celebrate the movie’s release, a limited run of movie-inspired box covers are being distributed at retailers in Japan:
