Publisher Playism and indie Japanese developer KOTAKE CREATE have released a surprise smartphone port for The Exit 8, their breakout hit thriller game.

The Exit 8 is now available for iOS (via the App Store) and Android (via Google Play).

The mystery/thriller game has been available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5. Check out our review here!

You are trapped in an endless underground passageway. Observe your surroundings carefully to reach “The Exit 8”.

Don’t overlook any anomalies. If you find anomalies, turn back immediately. If you don’t find anomalies, do not turn back. To go out from Exit 8.

The Exit 8 is a short walking simulator inspired by Japanese underground passageways, liminal spaces and back rooms.
