The Elder Scrolls VI is in “early development” according to Bethesda

The Elder Scrolls VI

While Bethesda’s next big RPG, Starfield, is about to launch – many are wondering how far off The Elder Scrolls VI will be from release.

The developer announced both Starfield and The Elder Scrolls VI way back in 2008. Nearly five years later, it appears the game has just begun development according to Bethesda themselves.

Bethesda head of publishing Pete Hines confirmed (via Spanish site Vandal) that The Elder Scrolls VI is in development, but noted clearly that it’s in “early development.”

Not much is known about The Elder Scrolls VI save that it will be exclusive to Windows PC and Xbox platforms, or like Todd Howard teased it’ll have fans playing “for decades.”
