Bethesda has announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Remastered has reached gold master status.
This means the code for the newly remastered game is complete, and the game is ready to be shipped out to retailers – as indicated by the above teaser.
The remastered version of the game includes lots of improvements, including:
- Mod support on consoles
- Remastered art and effects
- Volumetric lighting (“God Rays”)
- Dynamic Depth of Field
- Screen-space reflections
- New snow and water shaders
It’s worth mentioning the game will make full use of PlayStation 4 Pro when it launches, as well as support for mods on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The company also shared the system requirements for the game on PC, as well as the console harddrive space requirements:
