ZeniMax Online Studios and publisher Bethesda Softworks have announced the release date for the latest Elder Scrolls Online expansion, Wolfhunter.
The new expansion will launch for Windows PC on August 13th, followed by consoles on August 28th. As the name implies, the new expansion focuses entirely on werewolves and the daedric prince Hircine. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the expansion.
Lycanthropy is nothing new for the Elder Scrolls franchise, as it was first introduced back in 1996 with The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall, and has been a staple of the series ever since. The reveal for the new content arrived via this year’s QuakeCon, where the next expansion, Murkmire, was also shown. This will lead players into the Argonian homeland, the Black Marsh.
The Elder Scrolls Online is currently available for Windows PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
