Bethesda has announced they’re shutting down The Elder Scrolls: Blades, their second foray into smartphone gaming.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades is shutting down this summer on June 30th, and the game has already been delisted from iOS, Android, and the Switch eShop.
The game will remain playable until the shut off day and players still entering its world will find a free bundle of Gems and Sigils, its in-game currency. Furthermore, all items in the game have been clearanced to only one Gem or Sigil each.
Originally launched back in 2020 for iOS, Android, and later Switch, the first smartphone spinoff from their Elder Scrolls series was initially popular with over a million players. A second smartphone spinoff, The Elder Scrolls: Castles, is available now.
