King Art Games have revealed a new gameplay video for their upcoming game, The Dwarves.
Featured above, the new gameplay shows off the games lighting and effects. The team has worked diligently on capturing the proper mood in various areas by utilizing post-effects like auto-adjustment of color/contrast, weather effects, and more.
Some new screenshots were also revealed:
While the game is currently in alpha, all of the characters have been created and King Art has created “many new battle arenas,” alongside having “many levels finished.”
Most of the important features are in the game now, with things like leveling up, skills, inventory, merchants, and loot recently being added into the game, and are currently being tested.
Finally, King Art has made improvements based on backer feedback, including the combat controls, user interface, and more. The developer has also added a pause and play option, with tests looking promising.
They’re looking to release Alpha 2 in the week of March 14th or March 21st (depends on user testing).
The Dwarves is set to launch sometime in mid-2016, for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
