The isekai series The Dungeon of Black Company will make its TV premiere this July as part of the Summer 2021 anime season.
The series follows Kinji, a listless man from Japan who finds himself transported to another world. However instead of being the hero, he’s quickly gang-pressed (or rather enslaved!) into a terrible job at the mines with long hours, backbreaking labor, and little appreciation.

The series follows Kinji as he does his best and earns the companionship and respect of his fellows as they work in a dangerous mine riddled with monsters.
Beginning in 2016 by Yasumura Youhei, the series is still ongoing and has released its sixth volume. The series is licensed in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment.
