Here is some great news for Playstation owners who have gotten a bit too used to the Dualshock 4, and find it hard to go back to the Dualshock 3. We’ve learned that a firmware update was pushed out on PS3 that allows for wireless connectivity between the Playstation 3 and the Dualshock 4.
The new update allows for you to finally use the Dualshock 4 wirelessly with the PS4 (functionality via a usb cord worked before), however, there are some caveats.
Reports are coming out down the vine that a Dualshock 4 on PS3 doesn’t have full functionality, like the PS Home button not working when in game, and finally the lack of rumble and motion controls.
