The Division 2 update was delayed because dev locked themselves out of their own game

Tom Clancy's The Division 2

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 had its new season delayed and the current season cut off because its team literally can’t update the game.

In a recent announcement through the game’s official Twitter, the developer team announced they broke the “build generation system”.

This system is seemingly what allows them to push updates to the live version of The Division 2 across all platforms.

The issue was thankfully resolved quickly as the team followed up a day later noting they created and deployed a server-side update which is now live and extends Season 10’s content.

Regarding the next season of content – its team said more news about season 11 and in-game compensation will be shared sometime later.

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is available on Windows PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
