The fantasy anime series The Dawn of the Witch will premiere in April as part of the Spring 2022 anime season.
The Dawn of the Witch began as a light novel series in 2018 by Kakeru Kobashiri. A manga adaptation began a year later, and is serialized in Monthly Shonen Sirius. The series currently stands at four light novel and manga volumes. The latter saw its fourth volume publish in the west on October 7th.
The series follows an amnesiac young man who finds himself under the tutelage of a witch. As their adventure presses on, the training courses to learn magic will be fraught with danger.
The anime will be produced by Tezuka Productions (Astro Boy [1980, 2003], Black Jack), and directed and written by Satoshi Kuwabara. The announcement came via the Magapoke App’s Twitter.

Publisher Kodansha describes the series below.
Cervil is a magic student with no memories of his life before he met a mysterious blond woman in an alley. Now he travels with his teacher, Ross—another student, Holt, and the beastman Coudeau for “special training”… but this field trip may not be as routine as it seems!
