Did you play the Souls series so much that you already know the position of every enemy, the location of every item, and every bosses patterns? Well, maybe it’s time to mix things up.
The Convergence is a complete overhaul to Dark Souls 3, with new classes, weapons, mechanics and more. It’s a tough and rewarding experience for those that already finished the game but are still desperate for more.

Welcome to the Convergence mod. This mod grants you a whole new Dark Souls experience with newly added spells.
Existing spells that used to be ‘bad’ were improved.
Encounter various new hostile NPCs named after SoulsBorne runners like speedrunner Distortion and various no hit runners.
Each one of them will use a specific build.
We added about 20 starting classes e.g. Cryomancer (ice spells), Alchemist, Blood Priest and Geomancer (physical pyromancies).
We added a few new weapons and armor sets as well. Armor sets have all unique passive effects also.
The Convergence mod is an exhaustive overhaul of Dark Souls 3 with dozens of new weapons, hundreds of new spells, extensively revamped areas and maps, improved visuals, new enemies, bosses and much more.
Every map has been extensively overhauled with new enemy and item placements, improved lighting, decorations and aesthetics. The goal of the map reworks is to change the feel of the areas, as well as adding new surprises and challenges, in hopes of reigniting the excitement of a first playthrough.
Covenants now play a key role in every build. Covenants grant the player perks and buffs, as well as enabling collection of covenant items from all enemies. These items can be traded in at the covenant’s corresponding shops for powerful spells, weapons and armor.
The three basic magic schools of vanilla have each been split into four distinct sub-schools, making 12 in total. Each of the new spell schools have their own distinct playstyle and progression, as well as custom spells, catalysts, vendors and armor.
Every single weapon has either been rebalanced or completely reworked, making all of them viable. New weapons often come with brand new movesets, and usually incorporate animations from Bloodborne and Sekiro for added variety.
Several new armors have been added, and all sets grant various stat bonuses and perks when worn.
All bosses have been revamped in some way, and some are even completely new, with animations and AI unique to Dark Souls 3.
It’s insane how much work was put into this mod, and how some zones just look completely different from how they did in the base game. The new boss additions are fantastic, and the new classes are really fun to play around with.
The Convergence is a fantastic celebration of not only Dark Souls 3, but all of FromSoftware’s works, pulling inspiration from all of the company’s titles, ranging from Demon’s Souls to Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows die Twice.
The Convergence is available for download on Nexus Mods, it requires a legal copy of Dark Souls 3 on Microsoft Windows, which you can purchase on Steam.
